In 1960, M. Etienne CHAVERIAT gets into the packaging business. The JURA standard-boxes-norm is created.

 

In 1969, through its design activity of automated machines, CHAVERIAT creates its first machine for the manufacturing of corrugated cardboard.

 

In 1983, CHAVERIAT creates JUREMBAL.

 

Established in MOIRANS-EN-MONTAGNE, the company has the chance to be located in JURA, industrially rich region, which has been able to adapt itself and keep its sustained activity. These assets allows the company  to go through more or less difficult economical periods.

 

Taking advantage of this dynamic, JUREMBAL has increased its productivity by investing in the creation of a second workshop to double its production with a new manufacturing line including among others a brand new slotter with computerized numerical settings.

 

In 2006, JUREMBAL buys the company Emballage CORNIER which is specialized in the manufacturing of packaging for glasses manufacturers.

 

In 2014, JUREMBAL integrates Imprimerie CAIRE for the printing of cardboard and paper packaging.
